Just when you think you have it. In the interview things are going well, you are on top of the world then... you get asked a question that stumps you. You feel under prepared and caught flat footed. How do I get out of this one?

This workshop examines the basic interview questions then takes them a step further. Why did they ask that question? What is the purpose? How do I answer them optimally? Interactive in its approach this presentation examines standard and behavioral questions and possible methods to "kill it".

An inference looks at what else can follow? Collecting evidence, examining company policy, rewriting the job description and looking at overall company objectives allows us to better prepare for interviews. Building upon a base of penetrating questions we look at the unspoken subtleties present in all interviews

Often as an interviewer we feel like we have the right hire based on how well the applicant has answered the questions. Sometimes it is not always tangible why a candidate either succeeds or fails. Understanding inference can make the difference between hiring right and hiring smart. Knowing what constitutes a strong interview can assist both HR staff and job seekers alike.
